Multiple Myeloma - an incurable cancer of White Blood Cells.

In April 2010 she was free of cancer after stem cell transplant.

He was treated with a seven-week course of radiation.

He has retired from public life and spends his time without much media attention. He was present for the 2010 FIFA WC in South Africa in a rare public appearance.

Anurag Basu was diagnosed with acute leukemia in 2004 when he was halfway through his film Tumsa Nahin Dekha(2004). He was immediately hospitalized; his doctors announced that he had two months to live. He went on to direct movies like Gangster (2006),Life in a... Metro (2007),Kites (2010),Barfii (2012).

Initially misdiagnosed, Minogue was adamant in getting an accurate diagnosis for the lump found in her breast. Minogue underwent surgery on 21 May 2005 at Cabrini Hospital in Malvern, and chemotherapy treatment was starts soon after.

3) LANCE ARMSTRONG
Who is he?
Former American professional road racing cyclist and won Tour de France a record seven consecutive times.
What type of CANCER?
Testicular cancer (Embryonal carcinoma), in which immediate surgery and chemotherapy were required he also had an orchiectomy to remove his diseased testicle. Doctor stated that he had less than a 40% survival chance.
When was CANCER diagnosed?
October 2, 1996, at 25.

He was full recovery as his ailment was at an early stage.
