It is almost a ritual in my household to have a non veg dish as we near lent . For Christians -lent is a huge season to show your faith in God and Jesus as Easter is the biggest festival for them. My parents observe fast for days from Ash- Wednesday to Easter as they consider it holy period and have only vegetable food.
So the days before lent me and my sibling try to get as many non-veg dish prepared from our mother.

This time it is beef cutlet. home-made ,oily, soaked in motherly love, minced meat staple with bread and pav (indian bread)
