Today I saw  500th episode of 'The Simpsons'.
A show which is on the run for 23 years and celebrated its 500th episode on Feb 19 .

Sex during lent

“Christians don’t have sex during lent” one of my friends told me as preached by their priest in youth seminar.

I am a roman catholic and my friend belongs to a different sect and calls himself Christian.

I questioned him “how can a priest know whether one had sex or no?”.

And his reply “but Jesus can know”. Seriously Jesus - he never had sex in his 33 years of human existence .

I was born as a Catholic and have many Muslim friends as colleagues. Out of the many topics we share once I asked them about their views about Catholics. That is the time when I knew about Jesus' role in Islam .

Cutlet -feast before lent

It is almost a ritual in my household to have a non veg dish as we near lent . For Christians -lent is a huge season to show your faith in God and Jesus as Easter is the biggest festival for them. My parents observe fast for days from Ash- Wednesday to Easter as they consider it  holy period and have only vegetable food.

I have seen some of his most glorious innings. He has taught me not to lose hope when your own treats you bad. He has shown how to resurrect not only yourself but also your team in crisis.
I am talking about Sachin Tendulkar. He is considered as GOD by cricket lovers throughout the globe and especially in India .

How i screwed my school days

“How nice boys were they in primary now look at the devils” my primary teacher telling me and my friends when we were seated on ground at the end of our school days.

Fun and fear are the two words which comes to ones mind when a student goes for his last days in school (which is mostly second or third week of jan but in my school it was by jan end) before 10th grade boards. There is no lectures happening  and if any it is like a break because of teachers explaining the ways of writing paper which u might have  known from various sermons at classes(vinayak-which is second school to anthonians ), friends, neighbours, relatives and finally your mom and dad. I was no different and I was having cold feet before 1 month of paper. But this is a incident of how I ruined my last day in uniform not only for me but also for my friends.

Our computer teacher Conly Sequeria was a patient teacher ( I was wrong). The only thing useful about computer  lecture was MS paint . I hated it because my writing is worst than a person suffering from visual agnosia.
